As a Patient Care Specialist, Emma Thrasher supports patients throughout treatment while keeping their safety, well-being, and transition needs at the center of her work. She communicates with families, helps coordinate aftercare planning, and works to ensure patients have the resources they need as they prepare to return to the community. Emma also takes on new challenges within her role and helps patients stay connected to the support available throughout treatment. She finds the work especially meaningful when careful planning helps make the transition from treatment back into everyday life feel more manageable.
