Elizabeth VanSant, RN

As Director of Nursing for Substance Use Disorder Services at Skylight Recovery Center, Elizabeth VanSant oversees nursing operations across detox and residential treatment. Her background in high-acuity Trauma ICU care strengthened her clinical judgment, leadership skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure, skills she now brings to her work in addiction treatment. Drawing from her own long-term recovery journey, Elizabeth approaches patient care with empathy and a strong belief that every person deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to rebuild their life. She is also passionate about developing nursing teams, improving systems of care, and creating an environment where accountability and compassion can exist together.
